About
Hi, I’m Roveena and I’m a qualified nutritionist and PSA-accredited nutritional therapy practitioner, registered with BANT and CNHC and I support people struggling with gut issues, joint pain, fatigue, stress, and a range of chronic health concerns, especially those symptoms that often get brushed off as 'just part of life.'
My journey into nutritional therapy started in 2014, after being diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and like many people, I experienced persistent fatigue, chronic joint pain and stiffness, digestive discomfort, and brain fog. Alongside managing my own chronic health condition, I was also working in a senior healthcare management role, juggling deadlines, long hours, daily commutes, and the ongoing pressures of work while trying to cope with constant fatigue, discomfort, and flare-ups. On the outside, I was holding everything together but on the inside, I was struggling. Like many, I was told by doctors that cytotoxic medication would be my lifelong solution which was hard to accept, and I was determined to find another way.
I noticed that certain foods seemed to make my symptoms worse, so I started researching the connection between nutrition and health. But what I found was often confusing, contradictory, and overwhelming. With my background in biomedical science, I wanted clear answers, so I decided to go deeper. I went on to complete an MSc in evidence-based nutrition, which gave me the knowledge and tools to make meaningful changes. Over time, those changes helped me drive my condition into remission and to come off all medication. That transformation was life-changing, and it’s what has inspired me to help others take control of their health too.
For me, nutritional therapy isn’t about quick fixes, green juices, or fad diets. It’s about uncovering the root causes of your symptoms and creating practical strategies that work with your lifestyle. I use a personalised, integrative approach, combining nutrition, functional and nutrigenomic testing, targeted supplementation (when appropriate), and realistic day-to-day lifestyle interventions.
I know what it’s like to be busy, ambitious, and outwardly successful yet feel like your health is holding you back. That’s why I’m passionate about supporting people who are tired of just coping and help to move you from simply 'managing symptoms' to actually thriving in your everyday life.
